Picked this up from a friend awhile back and was wondering, is it a sword or knife?

Either way i thought it was cool.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">doesn't really look long enough to be a sword. if it's the same length as others I've seen of that design, then it's a dagger..most knives/daggers are about 1" to 12" in length. a long knife is 12" to 18", a short sword is 18" to 24", and so on. those are the standard length terms, I do believe..I collect weaponry, and read a bit about swords and such a while ago, cause I was curious about what some of the things I have would be classified as.

It could catagorize as an 'epee'(long knife) if you do crossword puzzles too much, but in actuality, it is a dagger, since an epee is really more like fencing sword if you read the dictionary.
Of course, in all technicality, I'd refer to it it a 'Nasty, big assed fuckin'knife' [img]wink.gif[/img]
